Diandra Takes a Glimpse of her Future
"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul, and makes us reach for more. That plants fire in our hearts, and brings peace to our minds. And thats what you`ve given me, thats what i hope to give to you forever." -Noah Calhoun [The Notebook]
One of the most romantic quotes I've ever known. The Notebook, such a great movie. Shows us how love can do miracles, and all the things it can endure. This movie is that kind of movie that will make you laugh and cry, and will make you believe in true love all over again. . .
That's why I'm doing this book for my ISU (Independent Studies Unit). =) Speaking of, I'll be working on my summary notes and thesis later, so that would leave me tomorrow to do the rough outline. Yes, I have got lots and lots of things to do. I do not want to procrastinate anymore. I've had enough of this stressful week (even though whatever I say or do, stress would still be there, and it is unbearable!). I really have no problem re-reading and making notes on The Notebook, because it's such a great book, but the thesis and essay outline. . . those will surely make my brain twitch tomorrow. Ah, screw it. Who cares, I just wanna get this over with. I've got to make time for Math on Sunday to study for a test on Monday. Holybananas. Stress just won't leave me alone! Aaaaaaaah!!!
...Now, you may be wondering about the title of my post today. Umm, well I got enlightened today! Isn't that great? Good for me. =) Yeah, well, it's about my "future". I've finally decided, for now, what I want to focus myself on. I want to learn more about the business world. I was researching a while ago, and my mom reminded me of this course in York University. So then I went up to my room, started typing away on my computer, then saw the website of York University. I clicked on their Faculties links and I saw this: Schulich's School of Business. I thought, hmm..sounds familiar. No wonder, it's quite a well known school. It's Canada's Glabal Business School and it's part of the global rankings as well. Cool. Anyway, I was browsing through their programs and I noticed that there were only 2: BBA (Bachelor of Business Admin) and iBBA (Internation Bachelor of Business Admin). I was particularly interested on the second one. What it is, is a 4-yr program that "offers candidates an opportunity to acquire a business degree with a global perspective." But do you know what's even more cool about this course? You get to travel and study abroad! It is required for each student to learn a language (Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Italian, German, etc.) and it's also required for them to spend at least one academic term abroad. That would be so amazing. But then again...
There are tons of challenges along my way. The biggest challenge: Grade 12. Yes, 4 more months to go, and I'm off to my last year in high school. Oh joy. Well, well, I'm definitely considering going to summer school in July to take Calculus. Oh yes, the subject that everyone's trying to avoid. I can already imagine the horror. Anyway, I really just want to get over that and just in case I do poorly in it, I can take it again during the actual schoolyear. Tell me that's a smart move? =) MyGoodness, this will be quite a mission, I'm tellin ya. I'm gonna need to push myself even harder this time to reach my ultimate goal. This is what I want to do, and I think it's perfect for me. Promise, I will do everything to reach that goal. *phew* =)
Hmm, by now, if you're still reading this, you must be bored outta your mind already. Sorry. Just wanna let my feelings out, and writing (in this case, typing) lets me do that. Makes me feel relieved and happyyyy! =) Sorry again, if I bored the hell outta ya. Peace.
Oh by the way,
Did you know? that I had to write this whole post over again? effin unbelievable. un-be-lievable.

Brand New Vision
It's 10:15pm. Just 3 hours ago I got my new contact lenses! =) I had an appointment at about 6:30. god, I never anticipated that it will take me more than half an hour to get the damn lenses on my eyes. Haha. mygad. It was really hard if your a first-timer. I had to do the putting-it-in-then-taking-it-off 3 times! The first time was such a pain!!! Then my dad was there inside the room too and he kept on telling me what to do!! Grr. Anyway, I'm so glad I got these today =) At least I wouldn't have to wear my glasses anymore. Speaking of, I have to take off my contact lenses now. . .wo-ow. . .
I have to go!!! I'll blog again soon!
Shoutout to: Justin! Advanced Happy Birthday! I'll see you tomorrow!

A RealLove survives a RockSteady vibe.
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do. Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you. - Sunday Morning [Maroon 5]
Ok. Where to start. I dont even know where to start. This week was just a stressful week. Too many things going on. First of all, on Monday, we did a grade 8 retreat for St. Joe's. It wasn't the best one, but it was alright..so-so. Then, Tuesday, I can't even remember what I did. Oh yeah, stayed up 'til about 2am writing my essay...which...well, I'll talk about it later. So Wednesday, nothing biggie happened. Thursday, we had a school mass in honour of the late Pope John Paul II. Today, Friday, my group and I talked to Mr. Begin about our project for Marketing. We'll be advertising his food for students and staff. The proceeds will either go to this girl's grad dress (aw, kinda cute) or I'm not quite sure yet. But yeah, we might just decide to help the girl. =) Moving on...oh, in the morning, 3 of the VP's came by our class and just looked around (probably looking for bloodshot eyed students) Yeah, apparently, some students have been selling pharmaceuticals in the school. Yikes. While we were walking on the hallway to talk to Mr. Begin we saw them inspecting some person's locker. Yeah, serious business. Ohwell, hopefully they catch the guy or else that person will be expelled and will be walked out of school in hand-cuffs. Yikes. Kinda creepy.
Anyway....yesterday, I was just busy downloading songs and burning CD's. well, only one CD actually. Haha. I downloaded 10 Maroon 5 songs and 10 No Doubt/Gwen Stefani songs. They're cool people. Good music. =)
Oh yeah, 'bout my essay thingamajig. Well, i "accidentally plagiarised" garr. I forgot to reference my secondary sources. Well, can't really blame me, it was already 2 in the morning! Hahaha. Damnit. Sh*t man...Ohwell, I won't get a big dumb zero though, coz I'm a good student. Nyahaha! Good thing that's only the first one. Hayhay. Soooo many things to be done, toooo little time..too little time!!! =( I tell you, I'm gonna be busy as a motherfather in the next few weeks. Gotta work on some projectSSS. Get that, projectSSS. *sigh* Two more pain-staking months Diandra, 2 more months...
So yeah, anyway, right now, I'm just chatting with Allan. I'm kinda sleepy already. Sa bagay, it's alreadey 11:30 pm. I'm gonna be resting soon. Lots of things awaiting me tomorrow. Gotta work on an advertising assignment tomorrow. I'm excited actually. =) Marketing is the only class that I get excited when the teacher gives assignments and projects. Haha. It's fun and exciting! =) Anyway, I have nothing to talk about anymore. Lol. Just wanna write another post coz I'm really bored, and what, it's been more than a week since I've posted anything. So there. =)
Btw, the title doesn't have any relevance to my post whatsoever, so don't worry 'bout it! ;)
Well, just check out some new pics in my mulitply site: CLICK HERE
Keep safe everyone! Peeps in the Philippines: Hope you're having a grrreat summer! Peeps in Canada: It's beginning to get warm, eh? Haha. We're getting there. . .

Been quite some time...
Yeah, it's been crazy. I've Been unbelievably busy these past few weeks. It's kinda odd, coz March was like the breeze-through month. First of all, there was the March break, the week right after that is holy week. so another 4 days off from school. Lastly, (well, this only applies to me) this last week was an easy week for me because I basically had 1 day of school. Well, two really...but the other one was a "civies day" which means everyone in the school can dress down..or up, for that matter. Those days are really weird days when everyone seems to be in a loud and i-cannot-pay-attention-because-it's-civies-day-and-i'm-wearing-the-coolest-outfit-ever mode. Weirdness. Anyway, no one ever counts that as class time. Haha! So yeah. This last week went like this:
Monday - no school, holiday
Tuesday - regular classses; lots of homework as usual
Wednesday - interesting day; had a religion retreat, my class went to a Jewish Synagogue, Buddhist Temple (my favourite!), and a Sikh Gurdwara. A food trip day also. Yikes. Lots of junk food!
Thursday - as I was saying...the so-called civvies day
Friday - interesting day as well. We did the Grade 8's retreat again. It's always better the second time around. =) I liked this retreat better than the first one. Maybe because the first batch was annoyingly loud and...well, just plain annoying. Plus, there were like almost a hundred students who came, so it was chaotic. This last retreat was better coz there were only about 50 students who came. It was successful! =) Loved it! Shoutout to Randy! =)
Anyway, after school, I went straight home. Allan was awake when I got home (Himala!) At 3:40, we picked up my siblings from the bus stop. Then at about 4, we went off to the bus shelter to catch the 4:15 bus that goes straight to Square One(this huge mall at the centre of Mississauga). When we arrived, we went straight to Subway(eat fresh!) to eat. Then after, We just walked around and shopped. Well, I shopped, he just came with me. We kept getting lost coz we were trying to find this specific clothing store, and we couldn't find it! haha! so we kept going up and down, back and forth. Took us almost half and hour looking for the place. Haha! It was fun though. I got to drag him around, here and there. He almost bumped into people because of me dragging him. HAHA! Sorry babe! =) After shopping, we went back to the bus station. Waited for the bus for about 20 mins. It was freezing outside. and guess what we were drinking? A caramel frap! haha the frap became almost solid na nga eh. We got home at about 9. Went out again to a family friend's gathering. We just walked coz their place (where Allan actually stays to sleep) is just 5 streets awaym, and my family's already there waiting for us.
I went home at around 12-ish- 1-ish. haha. Was really sleepy. And then that was about it for Friday. What a fun-filled day! =)
Saturday - did practically nothing. Well, except for watching a bunch of movies. And , well, my parents had their friends come over. They just had coffee here, chitchat, karaoke (of course!). While Allan and I cuddle, watching Bcoz of U. HAHA. Cheezeball ba? Someone lent it to us eh. It was kinda funny, the movie. Haha.
Anyhow, thats about it. And today, was an ok day. Went to church, ate at BK, ate lots of chocolate cake and some good stuff, and studied my butt off for my Math test tomorrow (the one that I missed on Friday). Wish me luck!! I might need it ;)
Anyway, I should log off now. I'm using Allan's laptop. It's already low batt. Haha. Umm, its 12:30am already. Needs tah get some sleep! I'll post again soon.
Shoutouts to Kuya Ron (hi kuya, wassgoinon? i mishoooo), Allan (hi babe! missin u already haha lalng), and to everyone who visits my blogsite and to everyone who tags mee! Love you guys! Check out some new pics --> http://diandrababes.blogspot.com =)
